Every moment of my life has brought me to this point, to this blog. I started this little blog on a whim in February 2010. I had no idea what I do with it, where it would take me, or how long it would last.
Since my first post, I have loved every minute of sharing my running and rambling with you. It’s a great outlet and wonderful way to connect. Outside of this little space, there is a whole lot more going on in my life.
I’m 26.
I live at home. I have taken over the kitchen and still love it here! I’ll move out someday…pinky-swear.
I have an amazing, tight-knit family. I am the oldest of three and the only girl.
I’m a single lady. It’s scary and exciting all at the same time. I’m new to dating and frequently solicit advice. Tell me the secrets to this game.
I am never alone. I have Lucy, my fabulous puggle, to keep me company every single day. She’s woman’s best friend.
I teach lil’ ones. They really do say the darndest things and they’re good for my self-esteem. They tell me that I look like Cinderella. I choose to believe them.
I love food. I don’t know if I’m a true foodie, but I find great joy in kitchen experiments, grocery shopping, and fresh new ingredients. I’m also known to take up just about any offer to eat at a yummy restaurant.
I love fitness and the feeling I get from a good workout. My true passion is running. Nothing compares to the runner’s high.
I am a classic “type A” personality. I love to read, gather information, and make to-do lists. I love learning new things and sharing it with everyone.
I like trying new things, but I’m sooo not adventurous. I want to be, but I’m not. I’ve lived in the same house for my entire life. I am deeply rooted in my family and community and can bear to leave. I do enjoy travel and am always curious about new places and people.
I’m a little loud. Ok, ok….maybe a lot loud! I love talking, singing…just using my voice in general. My doctor actually sent me to an ENT because I lose my voice often. After much examination, he said, “Rest your voice. Talk less.” Bahaha! I guess I’ll drink more tea with honey and deal with the hoarse voice.
I’m very rarely lost for words, but I think this is all I’ve got for now. I’m sure I’ll think of so much more to share.

Hi! Just found your blog today. I live in MA. Can’t wait to read more.
Oh and I ADORE your hair!
Thanks for visiting…and thanks for the hair love! I’m in RI, not too far. I know there was a blogger meet-up in the area not that long ago, but I wasn’t an official blogger then – we’ll have to plan another one for all the local bloggers!
hey! we have similar hair! LOVE it!! Your blog is so great; I’m glad you commented on mine so I could find yours.
Love your hair, too! Thanks for the sweet comment : )
Hey Becky! I’m so glad you commented on my blog! I also love finding local (running) bloggers. Are you in RI?? (and if so, can I ask where?) I only ask because I’m a Rhodey-girl myself! I’m not a native, but I came here for grad school and just can’t get myself to leave.
Looking forward to reading more!

Hello! I just found your website and am a MA blogger, runner, yoga and health enthusiast who is also 26 and lives at home soooo needless to say, I’m pretty jazzed to have stumbled upon your blog and to read more
Just discovered your blog today, courtesy of Ali on the Run! Three reasons why I immediately adore you: 1) You run. Me, too – though probably not as well as you; 2) You have a PUGGLE. Me, too. Mine is a boy named Perry. They are the most hilarious dogs known to man or woman; and 3) You have a photo of you devouring sushi. I could recreate the same photo approximately 3-4 times per week.
Count me as a new regular reader…and congrats on all the wonderful healthy changes you’ve made in your life! Woots.
Your blog has inspired me and really affirmed my desire to keep running!
